As part of the Village Plan, a small group has started to meet, gathering together historical information about Fringford and the surrounding area. The initial intention is to provide displays in the Chinnery Room in the Village Hall, and to support historic events.

The initial key themes are:

a) A history of the village at the time of Flora Thompson.

b) Maps of Fringford, supported with old and new pictures of the village, and annotation

c) 1st World War – there is already a display in the Village Hall.

We are very open to newcomers, suggestions or contributions (pictures, family histories, village information etc).
