Work is progressing well on the War Memorial.
It is now clean and straight and starting to look beautiful.
The workman has also discovered and strengthened a crack in the plinth which was likely to get worse if not attended to which has involved drilling and fixing several long pins across the crack.
There is still much more digging out and concreting to do and then the contractors will work on the re-lettering.
