Peggy Hutton in the Butchers Arms
It is with regret that we have to announce the death of Peggy Hutton.
Peggy was formerly the landlady at the Butchers Arms and the donor of the Peggy Hutton Cup which, up until recently, has been awarded annually by the Village Hall Committee to someone who has contributed to the village over the year .
Peggy was living at Cherwood House Nursing home and had reached the amazing age of 100.
Peggy’s funeral will be on Wednesday 20 April at Banbury Crematorium at 11am and afterwards at the Butchers Arms at 12.30. The family has requested no flowers, but donations to Bicester Community Hospital would be welcome.
