During the current lockdown the Parish Council has not been meeting – its processes permit it to continue to carry on the necessary work for the parish, and this it has been doing.
Dependent on when the lockdown ends the Parish Council may look at holding a virtual meeting – but this is a complex process, which the clerk is currently looking into.
In view of the pandemic, the Government has put back this year’s local elections until 2021, and has also put back the requirement to have an Annual Parish Meeting and an Annual Parish Council meeting until 2021.
If the Parish Council needs to hold a virtual meeting the Notice will be displayed on the Noticeboard as usual, together with details of how it can be accessed by members of the public.
